This Privacy Policy explains how BoredFlix handles information when you use our website. We built BoredFlix with privacy in mind: the site does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across other websites.
BoredFlix does not require registration or login, and we do not collect names, email addresses or any other personally identifiable information through normal use of the site. The only data BoredFlix stores is the list of titles you choose to save to your Library. This is stored using your browser's local storage and stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and it is automatically removed if you clear your browser's site data.
BoredFlix does not use cookies to track visitors or to serve advertising.
BoredFlix displays movie and TV show information, including posters and artwork, sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) API. When you load a page, your browser may request images directly from TMDB's servers. BoredFlix also loads fonts from Google Fonts. These third party services may process standard technical information, such as your IP address, as part of delivering that content. This happens independently of BoredFlix and is governed by TMDB's and Google's own privacy policies.
BoredFlix is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page along with an updated revision date.
